About Me

From a humble farmer's family in Gujarat to the Union Minister of State for Communication, my journey has been a testament to unwavering perseverance and dedicated public service. My name is Devusinh Chauhan, and I am honored to serve as a Member of Parliament from Kheda.

In 2002, I stepped away from the comforts of my stable job and took a leap of faith to dedicate my life full-time to politics, driven by my desire to make a meaningful difference in people's lives. The journey wasn't easy. My first attempt at contesting elections ended in defeat, but it was not a defeat of spirit.

Taking the route less travelled, I started by offering simple assistance to those in need - directing the villagers at the local bus stop, aiding them in their daily journeys. This humble initiative was not just about helping people find their way; it was about understanding their lives, their struggles, their dreams. The journey brought me closer to the heartbeat of Kheda, shaping my vision for a community where every individual prospers.

With each interaction, my resolve to uplift the less fortunate grew stronger. I cycled around the constituency, engaging with individuals personally, learning their stories, and finding ways to contribute to their betterment.

Every step of my journey has been driven by a single, powerful question - How can I improve the lives of the people around me? My aim has always been to uplift the needy, to encourage the downtrodden, and to build a community where each person has the opportunity to prosper.

Today, as your representative, I continue to be guided by these principles. I remain committed to using my position to create opportunities for all, to ensure every voice is heard, and to transform our collective dreams into reality. Together, we shall build a future where everyone in Kheda, and indeed India, has the opportunity to thrive.
